Which Should You Buy: Hard or Soft Wax?

Still uncertain of the right kind of wax for your services? Don't worry it's very normal for people to get the two different types of waxes mixed up. It's not unusual to have this question, so you're not alone and we are here to help you. The method the two are applied is where you'll find the biggest distinction between them. The wax that most people think of when it comes to body waxing is a soft wax, which typically needs to be removed with a strip. Typically, this wax is applied to major body parts like the back, chest, and legs. Hard wax, on the other hand, can be applied without a strip. It is hence frequently referred to as "stripless wax" and is typically used for smaller and more delicate areas, such as the cheeks and armpits. It is also the preferred choice for the bikini region.

How To Use Hard Wax

Ensure the skin is clean and free from oils or lotions. Lightly dust the area with baby powder to absorb any excess moisture.

Melt the hard wax in a wax warmer until it reaches a thick, honey-like consistency.

Using a spatula, spread a thick layer of wax onto the desired area in the direction of hair growth, leaving a thicker edge at the end for easier removal.

Allow the wax to cool and harden, hold the skin taut and quickly remove the wax in the opposite direction of hair growth, pulling parallel to the skin.

Apply Post Wax Moisturizing Milk or Post Wax Refreshing Cream to soothe the skin and remove any residual wax.
